A Ring with a Twist – and a Story

Some designs sit in your mind like a spark, waiting for the right moment to catch fire. After years of that little ember glowing, it’s time to bring a new creation to life: a ring that tells a story and invites your hand to dance with it.

I’ve always had this natural need to move—whether it’s shifting my legs, standing up, sitting down, or changing positions constantly. Movement isn’t just a habit; it’s my way of thinking and creating. I find comfort in that rhythm. When I was young and traveling through Greece, I remember seeing elderly men sitting peacefully under trees, their hands gliding over prayer beads as they sipped coffee. That calm, repetitive motion stayed with me.

As an atheist, prayer beads aren’t my thing, but I’ve created my own version—in the form of a ring. This isn’t just jewelry; it’s a playful companion meant to be touched and adjusted. Every movement reveals a new angle, as if the diamonds themselves are winking and shifting. I even have a 3D visualization of how this beauty will come to life—a little sneak peek into the future. But trust me, the real deal will be even more magical, and I can’t wait to share those finished photos once production is complete.

I’ve dreamed of this ring for years, and now that the sketches are done, it’s time for production. I’m finalizing quantities and pricing before they hit my webshop, but I’m definitely keeping one for myself. I can’t wait to feel it on my finger, watching the diamonds dance as my hand moves through the day.

Meanwhile, another meaningful project has filled my winter—my oldest son Jonathan’s wedding to the love of his life, Trine. I’m honored to be designing their wedding bands, perhaps the most sentimental rings I’ve ever made.

These wedding bands will reflect their love and individuality. And here’s the good news: once they’ve had their moment, I’ll make customizable versions available for others. Trine’s ring, especially, will be a beautiful base for personal touches.
